Jonathan Caspi, is Professor of Family Science and Human Development at Montclair State University, a seasoned family therapist, and one of the foremost experts on sibling relationships in the world. He has recently published a book called Raising Loving Siblings: How to Stop the Fighting and Help Your Kids Connect. He has been a popular speaker for us in the past and, whether you are interested in the research about sibling dynamics because of your own siblings, your children, or your grandchildren, this talk will be fascinating.

Family Promise is an organization that prevents, and helps end, homelessness for families with children, helping them achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response.  It is a national organization founded over 30 years ago in Summit, NJ, now with approximately 200 affiliates. Prevention services is available for families in imminent risk of crisis; Emergency Shelter Apartments for families experiencing crisis; Diversion services that help avoid shelter; and a Stabilization program that provides ongoing supports once permanent housing is secured.
